The COVID-19 pandemic, caused by the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2, has generated a renewed interest in larger family of Coronaviridae, which causes variety different respiratory infections hosts. Understanding mechanisms behind ability viruses to spill over into hosts is an ongoing study. In this work, we studied relationship between specific amino acid sites and solvent accessibility surface (or spike) protein Coronaviridae. Since host specificity hinges on portion(s) that interfaces with cell membrane, there could be information gain accessibility.
